It was present in almost all the cultures of world, even in some cultures men followed it.

Why it has become sign of backwardness, women detention, confiscation of human rights all of sudden.

Is this ‘Allah waste ka bair’ with a religion or something else?

I do find it very backward and a very sexist practice. just because some perverted men cannot control their urges doesn’t mean women are the ones who must cover themselves to ‘protect’ themselves. i do find it very oppressive and ridiculous. modesty doesn’t mean covering yourself in my opinion. a piece of cloth around your hair doesn’t make you any better than a woman whos wearing a skirt. thats just my opinion
