Right it’s a very sensitive issue and we should not argue about it.There are debates on this topic and simply by saying that naqab is not requried in Islam is not justifiable.Either we should discuss it with reference or not discuss it at all.

I mean there is a misconception in Indo-Pak as to what kind of purda is followed in Arab world. Some thinks that burqa / naqaab is Arab influence and that Indian society didn’t follow such purdah before Muslims.

But what is the reality ?

but again why Purdah is considered as second name of seclusion and detention, when we all have observed ladies following purda getting education, doing jobs.

Maybe it started because some women were forced to do it and weren’t doing it by choice.
After that, media played a big role. Just maybe…not sure.
