It wouldn’t be considered backward or bad because those women have obviously made the choice to cover rather than being pressured or forced into it..

I’m pro-hijab and niqaab but I don’t agree with any girl being pressured into it, by family or society as a whole.. She should have the freedom to dress however she chooses..

same is the case with 90 % of the women who observe hijab, its wrong insinuated that the women are forced to become hijabis.
