Re: why people have started rejecting ahadees these days
Labelling people? What? Is calling Qadiyanis Qadiyanis and Shias Shia offensive these days? Argument? The one that you are avoiding? Go through the post and answer my questions, if you are truthful and all knowing of the **Quranic **knowledge.
Re: why people have started rejecting ahadees these days
They do? I didn’t know that. Including the ones that say there will e 40 liars after the prophet mohammad bin abdullah who will claim to be prophets but they are not? :halo:
Re: why people have started rejecting ahadees these days
we don't.. at least not with historical certainty.. we can however compare today's version with the earliest available version and reasonably conclude that there hasn't been a significant change AND we can also use scientific methods to date the earliest available manuscripts to get an idea of the first compiled copy.
Other than that.. all stories and explanations about it's compilations are up for discussion and revision and criticism.. as much from non-Muslims as from people who wish to believe the Book is from Allah.
Re: why people have started rejecting ahadees these days
The Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (S) as a complete book. It was also compiled by Prophet Muhammad (S) while he was still living. The way you see it today is the same sequence how it was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (S). All the stories of Hazrat Usman (RA) compiling it years after Muhammad (S)'s death are not true. The book was revealed to and completed t by Muhammad (S).
Re: why people have started rejecting ahadees these days
captain, I don't want to go tangent in this thread because I believe Jaan leva would come back with the replies tonight. Your question is not that important really....whatever you think about the compilation may be OK too.
Re: why people have started rejecting ahadees these days
Here is your answer from the Quran:
**
“Whatever of a message We abrogate, or We cause it to be forgotten, We bring one better than that or the like of it. Do you not know that Allah indeed is the Possessor of power over all things?” (2:106)**
Re: why people have started rejecting ahadees these days
Evil omen is indeed in the house, the woman and the horse…
The house can either be a house of learning or a house of Kufr, depending upon how one uses it, the woman can be either a prostitute who defiles society or she can be a pious wife, the horse can be and evil portent as it can be used for gambling or it can be the mount upon which a Muslim achieves Shahadat…
The reason these three things were mentioned specifically is because these things are necessities and can be good, but these particular things can become evil if Shaitan has his way…Hence they are evil portents (I don’t use the word omen as omen is a word not very compatible with a Muslim’s beliefs, so the onus is in the translator and how he used the word from Arabic to come to the word of omen…)
Re: why people have started rejecting ahadees these days
Oh btw. muslim rejected approx 52000 hadeeth from what I have read.
There are a number of texts from that era by scholars disagreeing with him and especially bokhari.
So just because some people just opened their eyes and see others questioning hadeeth and then wonder why ppl are rejecting hadeeth 'these days' they dont realize that first of all its not rejectign hadeeth, its questioning them, something that has been going on for a long time and questioning how they are meant to be applied.
let us not make bokhari, muslim and co to The prophet, what John is to Jesus.

The verse is self explanatory...
Dude, don't quoteoutof context. Here it is referring to the previous books that have been forgotten.

Well Lajawab bhai so shame. This Ayaat is about old books and u r quoting it here to save the books of Man which is not protected by Allah
Re: why people have started rejecting ahadees these days
^ Lajjo probably used these verses to show that it was Allah's will and power that the verses of rajm and ten-sucklings are no more in Quran.... he didn't use this verse to defend 'ahadith'.
