Re: Why Pakistani people have not taken to the streets?
Brother, it seems you do nor read and still comment. Than whey you write irrelevant and someone points out, you get upset. Why don’t you ring BB and get new advice, advice to read and then comment :).
Can’t you read and understand that what I and many wrote here is that most of 160 million people are not with politicians, rather feel horrid even when thinking of them, and they are finding hope with their present life, under present government and under President Musharraf. And that is why they are not coming on road.
As for you comparing with Saddam and Mubbarak, it shows your ridiculous ignorance. In Iraq of Saddam and Egypt of Mubbarak, no media was/is allowed to write anything against the government, but as for Pakistan under Musharraf, media was lying and doing propaganda against government bases on those lies, and they were allowed to do that throughout Musharraf rule. Even today, after emergency, Pakistan media is more independent than all Muslim countries and most third world countries (even many western countries), and are spreading lies against government unchecked, without fear for their life, property, well being or prosecution.
