Why Pakistani people have not taken to the streets?

Re: Why Pakistani people have not taken to the streets?

Rebel X, i have also not heard of any such rallies taking place in LA either. Maybe someone is planning one soon. There is a reason why people have left for UK and US and unless someone has family members affected by this in Pakistan or some other interest still in Pak, why would they still come out and protest? And protest where? Consulate offices, High Commission, Embassy? White House? Will it make a difference? People living here are not directly affected by martial law in Pakistan. They have their own priorties. And above all they dont want to be seen as anti-Mush. Being anti-Mush will also mean anti-Bush. Cos as we know Mush and Bush are in .. yeah you get it. You could also be right, maybe they are less organized, lazy and not motivated at all.

But lets focus on protests inside pakistan because at the end of the day its the people inside Paksitan that are directly being affected by this and have to suffer the consequences.
