From what I have studied about the formation of israel is that they didnot take the land forcefully from arabs. arabs willingly sold the land to them at mooNh mangi qeemat. jews were very organized when they were forming israel something that arabs still lack to this day.

initially, yes, a very small part of the land under israel might have been bought from farmers.

There is a famous novel by jewish author Clive Cussler. He wrote a fictional story of Israel blowing up Pakistan's Kahuta research laboratory. The jews have always opposed the idea of an Islamic state with nuclear powers.

Kaleem, I was back home in May, last year. Why does that make any difference? How many Pakistanis do you think can identify Israel on the map? Majority is still illiterate, but everyone has an opinion on Israel, which is perfect, but obsession is not. Israel and India or rather Palestine and Kashmir have been abused by us for decades to cover our own short comings and failures. How many nations leaders would discuss Kashmir on business conferences? That is all our ppl understand apart from crying for Musharaf to set prices for onions and sugar. Come on, can't we find something closer to us to hate, like un-justice done in our own country? Females raped and burnt alive on our own streets?
It's funny how we show interest in world politics by dissing three countries for same thing over and over again without ever realizing that no one gives a damn, not even those posting pictures of slaughtered children from Muslim world. All these energies should be prioritized so that we have our own house clean before we point fingers as other, IMO. Or at least done make those in pain appear as joke by posting random pictures of them to win a conversation and senseless hatred calls.

Anyway I am of the same opinion as of you (sabah). Pakistani leader have used Kashmiri people and Islam for their own political reasons, and pakistani people as OG once eloquently put it “are lemmings”. It’s time we not only clean our house, but distance ourselves from so called “Islamic causes” and normalize relationships where necessary. Israel and Pakistan have quite similar ideologies, nukey or non nukey.
Pakistan is also considered a moderate Islamic state and most western powers leverage that to get their point across to non moderate isalmic states. Pakistan is not that bad as it sounds and does have quitea mature Foreign Policy. It will get better with normalizing and establishing diplomatic relationships with Israel.

I totally agree with what Sabah Baji has stated. Pakis habitually look for something to pass the blame on to. It starts with a very young age. Where I disagree with such thinking is that Jews or Israel or Kashmir is all just “something”, if they can’t find any other reason, they will start blaming the birds for their misery. In Punjabi we have a saying, and it goes like:
“JayRi Bhayd Moi, Phatoo dey Na”
(blame Fatah Mohammad for any dead goat).
Here, let me give you a brief history of Pakistan since it became a nation, and how we have a pattern of passing on the blame.
50 was a decade of blaming India for all our ills.
60 was the decade of cozying up to the USA and blaming Soviets for all that might be wrong with Pakistan.
70 cozying up with China and blaming whoever seemed blamable.
80 was a decade where there were two types of Pakis – ones who blamed Iran and the others who blamed Saudi Arabia for all the ill and racial, religious fukdupness of the country.
90 was the decade of blaming Jews and Israel for whatever ails Pakistan, and a threat that Israel might attack our nuclear installations.
This new century is going to be very exciting for Pakistan, because those who blamed Iran in the 80s for religious violence in Pakistan now want Iran to get nukes. Those who liked China in the 70s now want US investment.
Pakistani change their alliance faster than a Saudi does a camel. It is embedded in our psyche and it ain’t gonna go anywhere soon.
Keep passing the blame on. At least you are doing something.

Sabah, most of what you say is true. The attrocities you speak of must be condemned and stopped. Those culprits must meet justice. Please note this is WA forum, where mostly international matters are posted.
Do you not think that another nation having a desire to blow up your nuclear facility is a reason enough for alarm and worth talking about? I see your selective reasoning, you manage to show up in this thread and talk about random pictures, did you give the same advice to people who were jumping up and down with joy over the farce election in Iraq? I did not see you jump in other threads, ever, to stop abuse of Islam or any thing related to Pakistan. Once you show that you can get over the personal issues…I will be open to your senseless advice.

Kaleem, using this logic Pakistan is justified to ‘hate’ a lot of countries, not just Israel. Governments come and go though and official stances change, but most people know what’s important, the real people that is, the population and not lurpak eating mongs who’ve only ever set foot in Pakistan once.
So yes there will be continuing distrust amongst Pakistanis when it comes to any sort of recognition of a state that many European and American Jews stand against. See below.

^^ I find it amusing that the government of Pakistan doesn't view Israel as a threat, Israel doesnt view Pakistan as a threat, but uneducated masses in Pakistan somehow hate Israel and Jews.
Thap Sunnis in Iraq were given an oportunity to vote they boycotted, but thats another thread.
I hope that people of Pakistan wake up one day and realize that Israel and Islam are two tools that their government and their leaders have used to gather support. Thats all.

Look what they did to our beloved Taliban, sold them for ‘Aalo kay Bhao’ (for the price of potatoes), what do Palestinians think they are?
