Do you hate hindus because India has threatened Pakistan? Do you hate Christians because Russia threatened Pakistan in the past? Do you hate Shias because Iran threatens Pakistan? It is enough for all nationals of a country to hate a religion because 25 years ago there were (possible) covert plans for a country to exercise what they saw as a strategic advantage to them and their allies? Madhanee, let me tell you something…Israel will not dare to attempt it…its not Egypt or Syrian Airforce they will be contending with. There will be swift and precise reaction. If Pakistan chooses (or Iran chose) to go to war with Israel over an 'unprovoked' military strike then fine. It doesn't make it a terrorist act. It doesn't mean Pakistan would win either.

I like your selective reasoning. I think Pakistan will be justified if it attacked and wiped the jews of the face of the earth because it "percieved' danger from this terrorist nation. In your book it will be act of war. Oh BTW, Did you not hear the public enemy number one OBL, where he said that we will bring the war to you? That was his way of military attack which equates to act of war in your book. I still call it terrorist attack in either case.

P.S. It was not a rumour either, it was confirmed by the Indian officials years later. Maybe you do want to catch up on some of the happening around the world, than again that will be too much to ask ....because you might learn something new and find out that there are people living in other countries as well besides US and Israel and surprise surpise they dont like to be threatened by terrorist nations such as Israel.

It's not my book. That book has been written buy others. You evidently read from the same book as the terrorists if you equate attacking a nuclear weapons facility and the mass murder of civilians. Perhaps YOU should catch up on some reading and discover what constitutes fundamental breaches of international humanitarian law which govern the rules of armed conflict.

Kaleem, That is an excuse. From a political stand point Pakistan and Israel have used back channel diplomacy to keep abreast with internal situations. Madhanee is right Pakis have hated Jews even before atom was invented (pardon the sarcasm) so forget Nukee- factory.
Bottom line is that Pakistani's are told to hate jews because thats the party line from other influental islamic countries (Saudi Arabia ;)).
Pakistan has a lot to learn from Israel. Thats all. We should respect other countries in the league of nations my brother and not call them terrorist countries, cause they are not. BTW Pakistan has more terroristic tendencies than Israel.

Hopefully there will never be a direct or indirect confrontation between Pak and any other country, sofa jehadis will continue warming their seats while thousands of innocent civilians will die for no greater good. Pakistanis have been hating Jews forever and vise versa, but have we produced output worth talking about so far? Besides most Pakistanis hate Jews because that's the IN thing, if we hated them enough or cared so much for others we wouldn't be sitting behind a screen, having verbal fights with net characters, IMHO.
If Pakistani or Muslim world at large wants to have a say, why not channel this hatred towards output that counts on world plan?
Pakistan has always used a dual faced approach to Israel. In public Pakistan vehemently opposes Israel, however in diplomatic circles Pakistan is seeing as siding with Israel. Had it not been for Israel Pakistan wouldn't have gotten Military Aid in the 60s. Pakistan also supported the 67 Arab Israeli war and alienated itself from the egyptians and sided with Israel. Pakistani ambassador at the time congratulated the Israeli Ambasador in a neurtal country and I quote the Pakistani Ambassador and Israeli Ambassador Chomay. "Wonderful show your splendid little army put up in beating Egyptians." His only regret was that French and the british intervened, otherwise we might have gone right through Cairo.

Sabah, you base that on what study? When was the last time you were in Pakistan? I agree with you, we need to stop the loss of inncoent lives. We need to stop Israel in its tracks before it attacks another nation without provocation.
If you stop to think about it, Pakistan has practically nothing to do with Israel, per se. There is no commerce between the two countries. There are no border disputes. No historic relationships or wars. There are almost no jews living in Pakistan. No Pakistani politician supports Israel, Israel does not interfere in any of our internal issues and there is no internal issue that is linked to Israel. There are no sporting relations (except one of our tennis players paired up with an Israeli once and got hell for it). In international commerce, Israel and Pakistan don't compete much with each other in the same sphere, though this may change in coming days.
About the only time Pakistanis actually hear about Israel (other than newspapers) is when its printed on their passports - "Not valid for travel to Israel" (we used to have South Africa there too).
Anyway, so the animosity is basically by extension. We have been told that Israel usurped the rights of our muslim brothers of Palestines, and so we should hate Israel. Fair enough. Based on completely unscientific evidence, Pakistanis, in general, have a higher ummah-love compared to others. Funnily enough Palestinians prefer to think of their dispute with Israel as more Arabs vs Jews rather than Islam vs Judaism, but most Pakistanis don't care about the finer print. Then we have some Islam-based political parties who use the discussion of normalizing relations with Israel to mobilize their own support base.
In a nut-shell, thats basically it. Its a foreign policy debate, nothing personal. Not having relationships with Israel, probably keeps us in the good books of some Arab sheiks who provide us cheap oil and give some timely loans. As long as our government feels the grass is greener on this side, they will remain on this camp. Once the Arabs becomes stingy, and relationship with the jew state offers better value, don't be surprised if Pakistan pulls a Taliban and changes course in 24-48 hours.
Israel is full of refugees from Germany, Hungary and Russia who thought it would be a safe haven from Hitler.
Imagine some people coming to your country and telling you to get off your land so they can live there. That's what Jews who've migrated there have been doing for over half a century.
Palestinians fight Israel because they want their land back.
Israel will soon be destroyed for what the've done to the Palestinians.
