Please give some meanignful reason
It is lack of understanding each other and probably the politicians who use the masses to take advantage of this hatred.
I think it’s not a case of people hating Hindus or Indians hating Muslims but it is rather the policies of both governments that incite people to hate each other.
When these people come out of Pakistan/India then they become friendly with each other as they see the reality of each other.

Last time I checked some of my close friends were Hindu. And I'm no less Pakistani than anyone else; I was born in Pakistan and still proudly hold my Pakistani citizenship to this day.
The Quran itself contains instructions for Muslims to treat non-muslims with fairness so long as they are not hostile to Islam and Muslims.
Your little theory about Pakistanis hating Hindus, as far as I'm concerned, is little more than Shiv Sena inspired garble.

Fight non-believers->IX.123
Kill non-believers->IV.89
Killing Idolators->IX.5
Idolators are unclean just because they are idolator->IX.28
Or you can go to any masjid on any Friday in Pakistan and listen to what the maulvi sahib (the preacher) is preaching.
Logic user's argument is shown to be illogical when one considers the fact that many non-Muslim Pakistanis such as Wing Commander Marvyn Middlecoat are celebrated as being Shaheeds (martyrs) of Pakistan. In fact, over 10% of the medals for gallantry awarded in the Pakistan Air Force have gone to non-Muslims, despite non-muslims being under 3% of the population.
pakistanis dont hate nepalis so there is much more to it than religen.

Its obvious that these passages are taken out of context. Instead of reading the passages from Quran, you should try reading the whole thing.
You mentioned the maulvis in Pakistan. I wouldn't trust most of them. I read somewhere that one maulvi in the NWFP saying (in a friday khutba) that women shouldn't work, and if any of you see women working, you should take them to your homes and ""forcibly"" marry them.......
Your point about killing non-muslims. Whats stopping them from killing muslims?? There are 7 million muslims in the US. Should they be killed by the non-muslims ??

big deal! i have seen pakisa nd other muslims running like dogs after blondes all the while talking crap about glory of hijab.

Pak citizens at large do not hate Hindus, nor vice versa.

Sometime back one Paki friend had written on another thread that he was told by his teachers at school that Hindu is the worst religion and Islam is the best religion.
What outcome we can expect after such school of thoughts.
A real bitterness occurred among the two people sometime after 1996, when Pak media and lobby succeeded in impressing the gentry that Muslims are suffering in Kashmir.

Thanks for your remarks. A little I am partial. Definitely there are such mind set school of thoughts belonging to Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena etc do propagate hatred.
Do you agree that so called Islamic superiority is a core propaganda policy of Islamic states, including that of Pakistan?
In comparison the hate machinery in Islamic States is fueled by the State.

This is not true that States are doing it in Muslim countries only. Now states are doing it in India too and you know it. Whole Policy of BJP is based on hatred and they made it a point to pursue that policy when they came to power.
Today ShivSena/VHP/bajrang Dal can get rid of by doing/saying anything ( even by Killing Graham Stein ) but SIMI can be banned just becouse they make few demonstrations.Was it its Link to Terrorist or UP election ,the reason.
Today If there are some small Patakha somewhere they link it to Pakistan and ISI and try to create hatred in people's mind against Pakistan( I dont say that pakistani Gov. is clean either ) .
India has nuclear Power of yrs and everyone knew it. But BJP comes to POWER does the Blast and brings whole region on the brink of Nuclear disaster.
Only day in my life when I really feeled ashamed of being an Indian was 6th Decemebr 1992 when Babri Masjid was demolished by Advani and Gangs. Not Just becouse an old un-used Masjid was demolished but becouse

2.and the way Hindus in general celebrated this on Streets.
I am saying all this thing to bring the point that states sponsored hatred is just not in Muslim World.
Having said that I dont want to get into what pakistani politician did to spread this hatred. After all it takes 2 to make sound.

now i would rather agree that things should be better. but the picture u are presenting is lop-sided. did anyone get away with stein's murder. nope. dara singh is in jail. 4 rss people are killed in tripura. did u see newspapers in india who have spent kilos of newsprint on steines murder, on killing of rss people.
u might be an exception but there is sizable chunk of indian muslim population which sides with pakistan (u could search for posts of kabir on this forum) on all issues including kashmir. so while hindu extremism, however bad it may be, can not be anti-national for the simple reason that hinduism does not exist in any other country, islamic fundamentalism can easily be anti-national. in fact, in current situation in pak, maulans who are asking musharraf's head are putting islam above pakistan. the very international character of islam is such that there were huge atrocities on hindus in kerala during mopla rebellion, many hindus killed and women raped. why? abolition of khilaphat in Turkey. what indian hindus had to do with it. there have been riots on arnold toynbee's book, rushdie's book and indian non-muslims attacked when non muslims had nthing to do with it
again how many grnade attacks or like Bajrang Dal is accused of?. Ayodhya and list ends there. on the otehr hand, remember the coimbtore blast.
while talking babri, we have to put things in perspective. it is sad, i agree but an unique event of this character. while there are hazar events which happened the other way round in history and majority never felt that muslims are apologetic about this temple bashing past.
