the reason why we eat meat is becoz we are carnivorous. Our digestive system has the ability to digest plants and meat. if meat wasnt good for us then Allah swt would make us herbivores instead. The fact tht we can process both means our nutrition must be derived from both sources and not just one.
now obviously, meat refers to clean meat from healthy sources(and halal ofcourse.)
