no offense dushwari, but pushy vegatarians and vegans seriously get on my nerves. and you say why meat, well meat has been consumed by humans throughout human history.....so why stop?
Meat is still the best source for protein, and you know, it tastes damn good too.

My life would have so much less happiness without meat. For me good steak is better than a dozen roses. Lamb chops are pure bliss.
I am a meat-a-saurus, all of us humans are. If you fight nature and avoid meat altogether, your health suffers unless you "make up" somehow with supplements. We are MEANT to be carnivores and I for one and happy about that.

Why meat? Because Allah:swt: has made it halaal for us and has given us guidlines about it in surah Anaam…
Besides that point, the link shows the farms and places of Pigs as well.. We got nothing to do with that… We as muslims do not even consume chicken, beef etc. from these types of sources… We have our own slaughter houses

anybody wants to highlight the obligation for humans to have a humane treatment towards other species, if you are to eat meat, anyway?

let humans try to be humane to humans first, animals are a whole diff issue. IF we cant be kind to fellow humans what makes you think that animals would have it any better.

how do you describe eating animals like dogs, its a pretty vague statement. Is it about quantity or is it about the manner n which the animal is killed. You can be extremely ethical yet consume large quantities of meat.
If suffering is some sort of measure then vegetarians should carry teh guilt of eating grain and vegetables grown in farms where workers are treated like slaves. Should such vegetarians not be treated liek slaves then by your theory there?

Cruelty to Animals is Forbidden in Islam. This is sick....I say boycott meat from such slaughter houses. Boycott eggs

the reason why we eat meat is becoz we are carnivorous. Our digestive system has the ability to digest plants and meat. if meat wasnt good for us then Allah swt would make us herbivores instead. The fact tht we can process both means our nutrition must be derived from both sources and not just one.
now obviously, meat refers to clean meat from healthy sources(and halal ofcourse.)
