Come on, ladies! We don't dress for men, we dress for other women. Since when do men care about what fashion trends we follow or what dress we wear (except for when it's sultry). It is the ladies around us who care, or our own perceptions of how we should look based on media and much other crap.
I was having this convo with bf and I was telling him how women probably dress for the guy on the first, second, maximum third date (and equivalents of arranged versions of relationships). Then, it is just for other women, and what we call "dressing for one's self".
Interestingly enough, I sent him a quick, indirect email about how women like their men to look good for them. Next I saw him, he had actually trimmed his beard (when it should have been shaved) and was wearing a nice dress-shirt. Improvement.
^When women know this then why they feel bad if men do not pay attention to them?
Last week this woman said " I am appauled you did not say anything about my hair"
And then I noticed her hair was lot shorter than what it was two weeks ago.
I admit I did not notice. :(
And even if I had noticed it I would not have made any comment since the relationship is purely professional. ( Get your mind out of gutter...MY professsion..:)
Anyhow just to float on water I said: " I did notice it and it looks good, did not know how you would have taken it if I had made a complementary remark...". See, Women like us lie.....sometimes.
Pheww...that saved my life. Since she said. " At least you could have said something different about you today"...
