Why just the women?

Come on people, isn’t it obvious? It’s because women just don’t give as much importance to looks as men do. Usually, women look for financial stability, sensitivity, kindness in a man. If a man looks good and has none of these qualities, she won’t want to be with him for the long haul. So many men will be influenced by a pretty woman that they will overlook any bad personality traits. It’s the way we’re programmed, whether by nature or nurture.

And also, it’s not men pressuring women to look good as much as it is other women who will pass judgement on someone who is fat, ungroomed, etc. I’ve known a few that enjoy when others’ husbands give them a second look- makes them feel important? i dunno. Men’s eyes don’t just wander to anyone, they wander to women who want to attract male attention. And frankly I do not think any husbands are even aware when their wives’ eyes “wander” because they don’t care- they know it doesn’t mean anything will happen. But because women place so much value on their own looks, when their man’s eyes wander, it is incredibly insulting to them.
