^^ not really.. (as in i dunno if its made-up video) .. i witness these things every day ... including in a halal steak house where there is a banquet facility so larger parties/families gather over there..
lady that i saw with hijab, her hijab was the type where naqaab opens from the side facing the rest of restaurant, so she asked the male to switch seats with her, and with every niwala, one hand was holding the fork/spoon and second was used to open and close naqaab..
its a real-life situation.. and personal choice.. kudos for those who wanna do that ..

This is not funny at all. I see this everyday in food court women eat like this all the time those that wear niqaab. This is not just about italian restaurants. They should be applauded on their bravery to cover their faces. Very stupid video.

i have seen it before on youtube and some people there have called it a fake as well, anyhow the purpose is to poke ridicule at culture that finds its roots in the religion we all share. even decent non muslims would find it a hideous attempt at humour.

nonetheless it should apply everywhere, no?niqaab is not exclusive to afghanistan. Prophet's pbuh wives and daughter use to practise niqaab, i find it insulting and derogatory as a muslim.

What’s the proof video is fake? Oki lets consider for once that its fake, But again you can’t change the reality, go to any small city restaurant in Pakistan and you can see this kind a wonders … 
Recent example was two years ago on Lahore Airport, when a girl refuse to take off her niqab for ASF picture then two baba jee give her hope that beta dont’ worry.. its all muslim brothers around . .here.. i mean wtf ? who wanna look at your face anyway ..
I agree with you on one thing, that is culture not religion, so don’t create so much fuss about it, Niqaab has nothing to do with Islam or if we wanna mix up tribal culture same way Taliban did in Afghanistan then please.. move on

NO i also do not agree that its compulsary and it should be made obligatory and most of the Islamic scholars in Islamic countries agree that only HEADSCARF is MUST for women to wear and they should wear decent not obscene cloths (of course not wearing obscene cloths also counts for MEN, no doubt about it). BUT BUT BUT .......... If someone wants to cover their face then its their choice........dont u think so? I only have a problem if someone forces others to weir full nikaab to cover the face..........bc again i dont think its FARD in Islam.....

In West they do enough mocking of even sisters who ONLY wear HEADSCARF so we don't need fellow Muslim ( i dont know what your religion is but am just guessing) or fewllow countrymen should be very careful making fun of these women.
It has nothing to do with tribal culture bc nikaab is also common Arab coutnries and Iran. Besides i don't have problem with tribal culture as long as they do not force it upon me.
