Ah the good old Hindu throw line? Unlike Punjab and Sindh, NWFP/Fata and Baluchistan have historically remained distant from Hindu India, but where do you think they got the ‘red’ from? Or where did Turko-Persian Moguals got the reds and oranges from?

Dude India has more 2,000 different ethnic groups, not all of them follow the same practices and traditions! I know for a fact that there’s certain ethnic group in Indian south where brides wear white and gold or white and red bordered saris. You are seriously disrespecting yourself by giving a simple cultural thing a harmless religious twist. We are the natives of subcontinent, b*****ng every other thing as ‘Hindu’ is not gonna make you all Arab.

haha chill mate…i just threw that out there…i wasnt stating any facts…its just what came to mind =S i wasnt blaming hindu’s for anything…its a mix of cultures i guess…there is nothing religous about the colour we wear on our wedding…i think its purely trend and culture…
