I’d like to see women taking part in academic competitions or art competitions… where they can show who they are, rather than display their bodily goods. I think beauty competitions are flat out shallow - forget the religious factor.

I want to be indipendent and serve no person but myself, and yet, I refuse to degrade myself to a piece of meat. It is one and same to me. There is no liberalisation or release of opression in having the freedom to strutt your stuff. These women need to learn that along side their femininity there is a lot mre that dictates self worth.

I didnt know the girls paraded around "naked" in these contests.
What do you girls wear when you go to the beach or a swim? Burka?
I only swim in either female only times or on my own. As for the beach, cropped jeans, (3/4lenght) flipflops and a t-shirt do the trick.
