^ doing it "right" is under the veil of modesty (pun intended). This is faulty logic. Wearing layers of clothes doesn;t make you any more or less modest as wearing a longer beard makes you more pious. These are silly concepts woven into religion and hammered into muslim minds.
When I look at a hijaban, I don;t think she is any more modest than a non-hijaban. Modesty is an individualistic trait not a collective societal one let alone a religious virtue. Unless muslim women are all sheep...as far as muslim men are concerned.
