I’ve seen her dramas and I like her but where ever i mention her name, even on the forum, there is a parade of oooh aahs of dislikes for her.
Why is that so? She is a fine actress who acts as per the role demands.

I like her. She is a good actress no doubt…i liked her acting in ishq-gumshuda…but as for her new projects i.e. she is playing the main role in a drama that is based on a novel…and she doesnt fit for that character… . . . so

She was good in Malaal too. I think she needs to work more with good directores like Mehreen Jabbar and Haissam Hussain

Sarwat can act but needs to avoid those OTT bratty roles that come her way.

I find her to be just about OK. I think I saw her in a drama with Humayun Saeed where he was playing a 'bad' guy where she acted well. Otherwise I thought she was just OK in Malaal and she didn't do well at all in MZZB.
I hope Mehreen is able to make her act a little more in Maat-e-Jaan as she does have the main role and will be on the screen for the whole duration of the play unlike Fawad or the people playing his parents.
Sarwat does need some acting lessons along with Mahira. Both ladies are pretty but don't really have a whole lot of acting chops to carry a lead role.

I've really liked her in all the dramas I've seen of her including Malal, ishq gumshuda and MZZB (though she had a farily one dimensional character who is mourning her mom's death). Most ppl I know don't like her coz of her personal life, i-e that she is married to begum nawazih ali's bro and that she allegedly drinks and smokes. Kher i really like her. she is a fine actor

I have seen her act and i think she is a fine actress. As for people not liking her much, well i guess cuz she is not pretty .

I think she’s okay :halo:but some time back she was in way too many dramas ( like how Amna Sheikh is in like every other drama these days lol ) . I thought she was good in ishq gumshuda but I didn’t really like her as Sila.

I have just seen this ’ don’t tell my mother’ clip, and yeah I was taken aback by it. Of course we know things like these are going on in Pakistan, but you don’t see it on TV everyday. And yes that certainly was Sarwat in the nightclub, But did I really see Adeel from Daam fame in the nightclub dancing away with a girl aswell??? Can you guys confirm?

are we judging her on a personal level or professional? professionally she definitely has potential, i think she was the best 'sila' in the azar ki ayegi barat series, pretty ok in malal and ishq ki inteha too...agree with others that she needs to work with good directors. on a personal level, don't really care to judge her, in the past ppl have been against her based on snippets on her personal life.

Yes he was Adeel from Daam & Mera Naseeb. I think guys drinking sharab at 3:30 is Faisal Shah who acted in Dil, Diya, Dehleez & Dil hai chota sa.
