Reason is quite simple, and has stood true for decades…same reason why people rejoice when army takes over, but bemoan when it overstays its welcome. People want democracy as its supposed to be run by civilians, but want institutions as they are run by the army.
If civilian parties clean up their act, and let institutions run as they are supposed to, and stop commandeering police, NAB, FIA and FBR for their own personal gains, then people will effectively forget army rule, and will not welcome it when it comes.
