Agreed that’s it is being used as a lame excuse by inherently prejudiced section of the society to gang up on the Army and Gen Raheel in the name of ‘sarcasm’. A twat’s logic would say, let’s go and turn Gen Raheel a really controversial figure or turn him into a boogeyman because of some over the top tweets. A normal person’s logic would say, over the top tweets? Big freaking deal, it is social media, where a certain group paints a murderer like Altaf Hussain a saint, so yes there is always a fringe minority that takes things to the next level on social media, but they are not worth intellectualising at all.
Pakistanis are not stupid, they have their reasons for thanking the general, but you have the stupidest person on earth to think Pakistanis are being led to praise the general because of some tweets. They say: actions speak louder than words.
