well i am no expert clearly but if music is haram how come pretty much all muslims listen to music, have it in their weddings etc? pork is haram but i don’t see any juicy center-cut loin-chops being gorged down by muslims. are there different grades of haramness?

rules and following of those rules are 2 different things. Crossing the red light is illegal but how comes cops in USA issue hundreds if not thousands of tickets every day to the drivers who do that.
