Because he is awesome, and didn't run a party/country on ethnic bases.

The first thing to understand is whatever he done, he done it in the capacity of Chief of Army Staff or President of Pakistan. Their is a reason it's in the constitution, that President can't be prosecuted for his actions.
Bush did a lot of atrocities, even congress members sometime talk about prosecuting him, but this is out of possibility, you can dance, cry or laugh. That's the way it work, ... !

I think it is important to prosecute him. It would be a signal to the army that they are not holy cow and cannot get away with everything. About time we assert that the armed forces are there to protect a country and not rule it.

One visit to NWFP or...a public appearance in Punjab , Balochistan or Sind would be enough and he'll be history.
He spends most of his time in high security army house and often is outside Pakistan.
His days in Pakistan are numbered. Rumors have it that he has already left Pakistan

lol.. ever heard about Presidential Security how it works? Their was three suicide attacks on Musharraf but he survived.
If Benazir had the head of state protection, she should be alive by now.

Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Islamabad & Murree where these are located, he often travel to these cities, his daughter works in Karachi as architect from the time when he was Army Chief.
As far as his running concerned, the only thing he want before he left the President post was to live in Pakistan. I wonder where his Turkish Island goes, maybe they were brain farts of Insaar Abbasi :)

hmm the title of the thread is merely to catch the eye. However i am more curious about the fact that there seems to be no attack on a person who was previously severely threatened. simple question dont mistake it for me wishing death on him. quite beside the point, really.
