Why drink anyways? The people I’ve seen who drink always end up completely out of their senses, doing embarrassing stuff in front of random people and then being sick in the morning with a raging headache and regretting it. Who wants to be so completely out of their mind d that they don’t know whether they’re wearing clothes or not? And who they’re kissing or doing god knows what with? Yeah. Sounds like fun. Really rebellious. Bunch of idiots honestly. You think drinking will make you “mature”? A grown up? You’re just making a fool of yourself and shaitan is probably laughing his head off that he got you so easily. Have you no dignity? Pride in yourself? How is this rebellion? Please do answer I’d love to know what makes people do this kind of idiocy.
@SummerFruits the friend isn’t the only hypocrite. The OP is a hypocrite too. They’re deciding to commit a sin and yet points out the sins of their friend. Great friendship that is.

Obviously it’s a sin but you’ve never heard of a person having a glass of wine with lunch or dinner? It’s fairly common here in Europe, even during a person’s lunchbreak from work.. People don’t always drink to get drunk..

I never understood the attitude of people who think drinking alcohol or committing zina etc. is a way of rebellion and you are being an individual by doing it. NOPE, you are just molding yourself into byproduct of the what’s “in” determined by a few. Think about it, partying, drinking, intimate relationships before marriage, cheating, etc. are VERY common and are portrayed everywhere through media all over the world. So who is rebelling and is strong enough to go against the masses? Oh well, back to your topic, just because she is sinning different from you, it doesn’t mean what she is saying automatically becomes invalid. At the end of the day though, it’s your choice.

Most people drink, commit zina etc. because simply put they enjoy it and it gives them pleasure.. Obviously some might start out doing it because of peer pressure etc but they wouldn’t carry on doing it if it wasn’t fun in some way as well.. Unfortunately most things which are bad for us are.. I think it’s less about rebellion and more about that.. they want to feel good..
