ok so I’m wondering as to why it’s so hard for guys to commit. If they are young I can understand why, but what about when their in their mid 20s? I mean if they can’t commit why do they give all these false promises and make women wait? How come most become so heartless and start socializing with other girls, and act careless towards the girl who actually cares for the guy and is committed to him? I’ve noticed the girls who have bfs or fiances that are madly in love with them, are the girls who don’t give their guys much lift, or act a little tough with them. Is that the key to keeping guys on track and committed? Also at what age does a guy become sensible and mature?
Re: Why is it hard for guys to commit?
Guys think its cool not to commit. I have heard guys make fun of commited guys and call them "oh thats so gay" or "totally whipped".
So these immature guys think its totally "uncool". Even if they really love a girl, they would pretend they don't.
Re: Why is it hard for guys to commit?
Its not hard for all guys to commit, only the jacks's.**
So the question isn't, why do these men not commit, rather, why can't women tell the difference between these men.
Re: Why is it hard for guys to commit?
Because their parents don't give them 2 jhootas and get them in line.
Re: Why is it hard for guys to commit?
Guys commit to the girls who are worth it.
Because their parents don't give them 2 jhootas and get them in line.

hmm true, but I know of some guys who actually regret not being committed when they should've.

oh, i’m glad that u do understand urdu…great!
the she’r [couplet] is from urdu’s graet shaa’ir Altaf Husain “Hali” Hali being his pen-name.
what he is saying is that human natures is such that it never gets satisfaction and always looks for better and better and better even though he may have already come across with the best which he may have passed on thinking that it wasn’t good enuf and as a result he ends up losing a great deal. in Holy Qur’aan, Allah says “verily, man is in a loss” [innallaha la fi Khusr]. in the second line the poet is wundering as to where the man’s so called “nazar-e-intiKhaab” [choice] will fixate…its as illusive as it was in the eginning and will always remain so coz a man is a loser!**

Ok I have seen many cases the other way around where a guy "dates" a girl with the intention of marriage and when the time comes she backs out by saying on of the following:
- You are too good for me
- My parents will never agree and because my dad is a heart patient I cannot afford to give him any grief
- I am dying, I have a fatal disease such as cancer of the toenail, and so by marrying me you will become a widower in a few months
Trust me, I have seen and met all 3 above, yes.

oh wow! I've heard of incidents too where the girl will be in a relationship with a guy for X amount of years and then get married to someone else for whatever reasons. And then those guys become Devdas. But here I'm talking about girls actually being serious, having honest intentions, being committed, but in the end the guy turns out to be not as serious. I've noticed this as well, the girls who don't show much interest in their bfs, get the serious/committed type of guys, and those girls who are serious, get not so serious guys...why is it like that?!
Re: Why is it hard for guys to commit?
^^^ i think thats just cuz of the small sample size ... i've seen serious guys not so serious grls ... other way arnd ... and situation where both the guy and the grl are serious about each ... i mean c'mon if they both weren't serious we wldn't be hearin about love marriages wld we
Re: Why is it hard for guys to commit?
this is so untrue, even in my tees and early 20 I always committed, sometimes every other weekend or so.
