I was kinda with a decent 1 on this. When you first shared your story, the thing that stood out was that your mother seemed to be more concerned about your prospective spouse’s skin color. As you noted that your mother asked about him because you are “whiter than white bread”. Then you mentioned the whole thing about deen etc. Your initial post was somewhat inconsistent, thus I can see why someone would question it.
