Re: Why is everyone on Pakistani TV so fair?
i really don’t know how aishwarya was in her early days, was never much into bollywood but even if it is impossible to think that there are light skinned indians, i’ve personally come across quite a few, these are my family members from the small little villages/towns in india, they don’t wear makeup, the most they wear is the ponds talc powder on their face and kajal, that’s the extent of it. They are actually as white as caucasians are, with the light eyes and the fair fair skin. even if my cousin is one of the town’s doctors he does not use hydroquinone or anything on his skin and has a very middle eastern look to him with his black beard.
there are the dark indians but a lot of the ones i’ve been around are very fair skinned too. it’s true that indians come in all shades, all different features(east indians are very chinese looking with the fair skin and small eyes) south indians tend to be much darker for the most part , north indians tend to be lighter but the beauty of south asia is the diversity of looks going from region to region.
I know there are light skinned Indians (can’t get much paler than the Kapoor sisters), sorry if my post came across as suggesting otherwise.. I was just pointing out the majority aren’t as pale as they appear on tv..
