Re: Why Ibaadat brings Pride?
Among religious people there is always a possibility of some people who may be doing the ibaadat for the sake of showing off. But their intentions are seen by God and they will get the results accordingly. (If you believe in that)
Many Ibadaat are done in front of people and yet many ibadaat are done in privacy. It is quite possible if someone is not himself/herself religious merely feels bad for not being religious and then as a defense mechanism projects negative feeling against those who are religious.
This happens in day to day life also. At school, work, friend/families get together, people do get so impressed by someone better that they start looking for some negative trait in that person to make themselves feel better.
Best thing, is to acknowledge those feelings of projection and move on.
Better yet, try to become a better religious person yourself as I said earlier. Is that a difficult task? ![]()
You have moved to sectarian issue here.
The idiots and bigots are in every society, religions and sects. Fortunately they are in minority.
But unfortunately some of us just keep focusing on these people and start hating religion itself or stop being religious.
Some of us have no ability to move on and look for good people who still are in majority.
Focusing on bad people gives importance to bad people. This kind of behavior encourages them and makes them stronger.
Why not try finding good people and also write about them instead?
