my question is why boys always want to do arrange marriage even though they have girl friends ???

why dont they just marry their girl friends instead of marrying some other ?

i think i would make my bf and his wifes lives a living hell if he didnt marry me for a arranged marriage. Yes im a stalker!!

I havnt really seen a case where a guy hasnt married his girlfriend for a arranged marriage tbh so i cant comment.........

But IMO as to WHY is because they think a girl from their parents is a better choice for them just INCASE they end up in divorce with their girlfriend. I dnt know jus guessing.....

because they are unsure of the relationship n if they are muslim they finally realise that the b/f g/f system wasnt really prescribed in islam.. So they ‘‘opt’’ in for the ‘‘back up plan’’ an arranged one wherr they r going lagit with ‘‘parents blessings’’ i mean come on who hasnt seen ‘kabhi khusi kabi gham’ .. You dont wana live a misrable life with ur parents blessings .. I mean therd ‘‘is’’ something called a parents blessing inislam too…:hmmm:

^ if they know its haram, then why date. that still does not answer the question though. I'd like to think it's because they want to keep their parents happy.

You only get nice girls through parents, girl friends are just for passing time and are considered 'bad' for marriage even by their BFs.

becuase they are not man enough to stand up for themselves... I agree Islam is an excuse! Sadly alot of these desi moms have taught their sons that girls who are gf are bad girls and after years and years of brainwashing they start to believe that...

Girlfriends are not 'serious' relationships for them. They are not strong enough to find a girl they really 'want' as a wife and go ahead and marry them. Girl friends for them are just 'stop gap' arrangements and the 'girl friends' knowingly or unknowingly get exploited thinking the relationship can get somewhere.

if a girl knows that the relationship is not going anywhere she wont stick around... but then again NOT all guys are like that... my cousin married his long time gf... I guess every relationship is different... but ladies if you feel like its not going anywhere it probably isnt!!

i don't wanna go into much detail but i can totally relate to this topic. so last year a guy i was quite serious with left me. yep. he totally dumped me for a girl his khala in pakistan chose for him and he said yes after seeing her picture. he was 31 and the girl was 19. he did it because it was the easy way out. he could've fought for me but he DIDNT. so from my personal experience i dont think the girl from pakistan was NICER or BETTER than me in any way..its just that he had the opportunity to get another girl and he went along with it. it was pretty selfish of him but im SO glad he did it, alhumdulillah i deserve MUCH better :)

A mixture of wanting to please their parents along with the supposed idea that a girl their parents choose might likely be more obedient or 'well behaved' and/or less likely to have had previous relationships (which of course is dodgy reasoning but nevertheless..). A lot of desi guys who've been in relationships themselves are also too insecure or hypocritical to marry someone they know has done the same. The saddest thing to me is that the double standards are often taught to them by their own mothers..

1 . Easy . Don’t have to run after dozens of girls to find a soul mate .
2 . Can get someone wayyyyyyyy out of his league .
3 . Much quicker
4 . No problems by parents
5 . You can have multiple choice
6 . More comfortable to reject / accept
7 . Don’t have to spend money on buying gifts for gf :wink:
