I think I agree with PCG. If you are planning to attend a professional school and are not serious about pursuing a career in that field, then you should think of doing something else. That seat should go to a person who is serious about pursuing a career in that field.
For instance, in Pakistan medical college A has opened 500 seats for admission. Out of 500 if 300 goes to girls and out of 300 if 150 girls choose to be stay home moms or go for something like teaching, then they should not apply for medical school. Better give those seats to guys who will actually be brining some bread to feed the family or someone who will actually utilize that degree in future.
B/w I am not pointing out at anyone, it is for both guys and girls. Like Salman Ahmed wasted a seat at King Edward Medical College, Lahore and ended up choosing music as his career for life.
