Re: Why faith in Islam?
yes yes.. I know that's what youe meant. The less the Sunnah observed, the more the mind has doubts about the ahaadeeth. Right on!

Re: Why faith in Islam?
AQ yar, do you even have a beard? I have been told you are as clean shave as Jennet Reno.
Re: Why faith in Islam?
I thought so. Right on for following sunnah
Re: Why faith in Islam?
Could someone explain what "witness the truth means"?
Re: Why faith in Islam?
utd, its a fancy way of saying I follow my parents' religion.
Re: Why faith in Islam?
I was born into a "Muslim" Family.. but alhamdolillah i'm free of this Number 2 Islam now and am a true Muslim. Yes there was a chance for me right there to accept any other religion or none at all!! but I did choose the real Islam.
So yes.. one CAN grow up and realize that one is following the wrong religion and correct ones self... although I have to give credit where it's due.. it was only due to freedom from peer pressure and 'taqleed' when I arrived in the USA that I was able to open up my mind, read up, learn, question and acquire true knoweldge about the very religion i was born into!
Everyone owes themself at least a couple of years away from the dogmatic-blindly-following societies and research their religion themself.. (not by questioning askimam.com etc)
Re: Why faith in Islam?
So PA bhai: exactly when did you discover that all the ahadeeth are but fairytales or do not have a basis of Islamic ruling for that matter?
Re: Why faith in Islam?
Born muslim- and alhumdolilah have faith in my religion which is getting stronger day by day
Re: Why faith in Islam?
I know of a human who doesn’t. He instinctively feels that whatever he sees..that’s it. So, i dont see how you are arriving at your claim.
Re: Why faith in Islam?
I think I was a muslfor being borne in muslim family...but now after searching,.....I am muslim based on my own choice. Some may have skeptisism but what can I do for them.......except to pray...!!
Re: Why faith in Islam?
...........muslim for.......soory for typo
Re: Why faith in Islam?
Your problem is that you never scrutinize the events of conversion.
And if you study how actually the majority of Muslims follow a non-Islamic life which as per Quran automatically converts them into a degraded Kufr, you will not like to boast about the increasing strength of your faith.
Re: Why faith in Islam?
Off course there is no compulsion in religion.
Can people who have left Islam continue leaving in an Islamic state without any problem?
Do they not attract the law of Blasphemy?
Re: Why faith in Islam?
I think PA and antiobl are the only two qualified Muslims...
Maybe we should start asking them questions relaying to the Deen...Marital issues, financial issues, religious issues, social issues e.t.c. relating to Islam...
I'll ask aobl...I like his Islamic teachings...'Just do it'...:D
Re: Why faith in Islam?
Actually if I go into detail, I don't quite follow my parent's religion because while I do share the fundamentals, I don't quite agree with all their belief on life and details about how we live it. In this regard, a lot of people don't exactly follow their parents' religion.
Re: Why faith in Islam?
Quite true. Many of us have done research on our own. We do not exactly follow or share the same beliefs as our parents, but I’m sure we all try to be respectful to our parents’ beliefs.
Re: Why faith in Islam?
I dont understand how your first comment is related in any shape or form to the topic at hand.
As for the second comment : Because they had the luck of being born into something they believe in even after they grow up. ![]()
Semi , percentages dont have anything to do with faith. Faith cant be measured in stats.
