Don't we need to have a clear policy about how far can a person go in discussing Islam. Here its not a matter of discussion, but some people like Matsui throwing garbage at us. It would be so much better if such persons are banned right then and there forever. What is so perplexing is that good people end up leaving GS, whereas Islam haters are brought back so easily.

Why was Matsui allowed back in the first place? Answer that! Since he is back the whole atmosphere is spoilt. Whats the use, when Matsui and few others come, GS stinks! and its hard to stay in a place that stinks.

Anyway thanks Salman for bringing up the issue.

Until Madhanee, Matsui, Antibol are not banned, I also leave.

i really didnt want to post in this gutter of a thread where my uncles are all exposing their tarbeeat, but I shall give youthe benifit of the doubt by assuming that you are all stupid enough to assume that allah mian needs any of you.

Its a redundant point however the prophet Mohammed (pbuh) whos example you “muslims” are said to follow, was indeed a better man than any of can ever dream ofbeing. He was Allah Mians right hand man and loved him more than any of you can hope and yet he managed to restrain himself from vulgarity.

Don’t u assume that if he had wished he could have destroyed his “enimies”? and yet ghe chose to lead by example.

If matsui is a kafir< you can take it for granted that he will not understand and perhaps disrespect your faith as a certified insensitive *******, however the rest of you have no excuse.

You all are trying to slig mud in ego matches in the name of religion. That in my opinion is worse than anything matsui has said :slight_smile:

The level of bigotry is becoming very obvious from the administration.
What Matsui has done in the past has been regarded as plain bigotry, the administration on its part is showing leniency or moderation but its not working. Time has shown that again and again. Its very simple, Matusi can be very, nice, gentle, witty person but his hate for Islam comes out every now and then, and this shows his bigotry. So for his action nobody else should be banned or kicked out. Its all about doing justice, this what all Islam is.

Only person I was taking a crack at was Matsui and I said the exact the same thing you are saying about Elahi.

Hiccup i will only say this once. So listen properly. Regardless of what you think we are not doing this for ego or for revenge. Be he kafir or not. All of us live our lives on principles. You may not, but hey that is your choice. Be it racism in real life or on the internet, we feel it should be eliminated. We will not tolerate anybody insulting our religion and getting away with it. That is exactly what is happening. If you can tolerate such things good for you. But such actions would not be accepted by anybody in real life. So why is it tolerated on the net? Just because it is a virtual reality does that mean all semblance of manners and morality fly out the window?

Take a look at everybody who has posted in response. We can all be accused of verbal abuse, but we have never ever insulted someones religion. If you think that this pure ego then you are not as smart as you think you are.

And by the by, admins/mods you dont have to go far for this stuff.. these guys dont debate with intellect or logic, their posts are filled with references to camels, and ostriches hiding their heads in the ground, etc etc... these guys should never have survived here. i guess this site isn't made by the members, it is made and run according to the admins.

Okay cards on the table time for me, being one of the '7' I'll have another say.

This issue of Matsui is but one of the blunders that have been made by Saba and the admin team of late, before that it was the sacking of Mursalin I left over the lack of communication and clarity of this issue i.e. no explanation was given as to why Mursalin was removed despite my repeated attempts to reason with the team (see numerous posts in mod forum) no one came forth with a grain of reason, most notably Saba.

A number of other mods also left at this time over similar victimisation and stone-walling.

I thought Mursalin, Sentinel, Sambrilian, Ehsan, Madscientist, Outlaw and myself did a good job of moderating, others thought we were ...well this has never been explained.

We were all active members that kept the forums flowing; it appears however that there is no room for our politics in GS, not very inclusive?

Anyway so yes I spent a lot of time on here like a lot of you, yes I keep shooting my mouth off (my only defence is above), yes I still want to be part of the place, but no not if it means being at the mercy of a moody dictator.

I hope Ehsan comes back, I also hope the 'ex-Mods' keep posting away and giving their views to add a healthy balance to the place, I also hope Saba learns to stop swinging from one extreme to another and the other owner/admins think team and not ‘cliques’...as you can see I still have a lot of hope.

Heavens , matsui is more famous than Bush.On a serious note, what is the point of these threads? I totally agree that mods/admins make mistakes, and some of the mods who left were great people and its a loss to the forum.However, unless the current mods/admins admit that they have made mistakes and follow their own rules, I dont see how these discussion will get anywhere.All that ever happens in these threads is that members argue ,admins argue, everybody insults each other, and then the thread gets closed.

If some people are such big problems on gs (the ones who insult religions, races etc) they should be warned and banned.And if they cant seem to behave, they should be kicked out for good.Not to mention its not very hard for mods to just delete the replies that insult other religions.I mean how hard can that be?

Again threads such as these are good for nothing unless somthing is done about them.There are some great mods/admins Im sure ; its only a matter of them making sure that the rules are enforced.
