Re: Why dont pakistani girls drive motorbikes

garriaan chalatay huay dekha hai unhain???
motorcycle toh baad ki baat hai..

sitting up stright, face 3 inches from the steering wheel..nervous as heck..causing all kinds of problems changin lanes w/o signaling, slowing downa nd speeding up every 20 seconds for no reason etc etc.

PS: let the shower of chappals begin :D

Re: Why dont pakistani girls drive motorbikes

my dad tells me moped and scooters are more dangerous than bikes because they're heavier in the back so have a tendency to tip over =/

i want a bike of my own though :( a nice sports bike :D

oh and i can't sit sideways on a bike.

Re: Why dont pakistani girls drive motorbikes

I would like to see Khumar and EMM riding a bike.

Those saying that they (women) must wear jeans or shorts to ride a bike, not true. As Codie said, men ride motorcycles wearing shalwar kameez, girls can do it too. I think our people are more concerned about "log kia kahen gey?"

Re: Why dont pakistani girls drive motorbikes

^my last attempt then it may be closed.
in lahore its a new trend, i have send many women wrapped up in shawl riding a bike with a guy behind em, most probably younger brother or a kid. and that too in fairly low down area so its not a posh thing either. earlier on women in pak werent going out alone on vehicles i know many families that would install a masi in the car but bit hard for masi's to be trust worthy of bike riding so girls didnt get the chance. now its changing, second thing is the cheap public that doesnt leave alone the women that are just catching a ride on bike rather than riding it themselves, scarves snatched and being pinched in heavily trafficked area is a norm. Guys can be a real pain and thus whole lot of women still avoid riding on a bike let alone riding a bike, yet some have courage and others are just to darned either way to give a crap. my suggestion is if these cheap moron can receive a good bullocking like the shurtas thing in arabia women would be mightly pleased.

Re: Why dont pakistani girls drive motorbikes

hmm interesting !

But the million dollar question is :

Indians who have observed these girls driving scooties What do you think they are good drivers ? or they are just as bad as women car drivers ? :hmmm:

Re: Why dont pakistani girls drive motorbikes

i know the averages are SO , SOooOOOoOO bad that u never see a biker chick..

naa ke, a desi biker chick..

oh well .. i've seen a desi ninja rider.. (yes yes, its not a myth), desi on a ninja without any punn intended, racing !

what i DO wanna c in my life time is .. maddy.. (racing) and not only that, racing against a (preferably desi) biker chick.. (on a bike)

Re: Why dont pakistani girls drive motorbikes

ninja or no ninja …but my sixth sense say that desi chicks should be good bikers. Dont know why

what i DO wanna c in my life time is .. maddy.. (racing) and not only that, racing against a (preferably desi) biker chick.. (on a bike)

the biker chick should easily beat him. I am with Powerpuf guls :dannyboy:

Re: Why dont pakistani girls drive motorbikes

It was NOT a definition...it was a question...:|

Re: Why dont pakistani girls drive motorbikes

Yes, I tried to refer to the same point when I mentioned the uncultured public...which is not really present in the air...so flying aeroplanes is one thing, driving a bike on the road is another totally different thing, and that is why flying aeroplanes is more acceptable than driving a bike.

Re: Why dont pakistani girls drive motorbikes

after i got over the initial shock of the traffic, i said my prayers and rode these bikes with various ppl - my sister, girlfriends, brothers. i was equally scared no matter who was driving. so i’d say they’re just as good - or bad- as the men :stuck_out_tongue:

before i left i did learn to maneuver a scootie, but that’s really easy… i dunno how some girls drive the kinetic honda and some heavier two wheelers; when u park, u literally have to haul the bike over the stand thing… it’s really heavy! i couldn’t help admiring the ease with which many women handled their vehicles..

on second thought, i found that the women i know drove two wheelers better than they drove cars. maybe it’s coz they’re more used to driving two wheelers? maybe it’s coz they usually have a chauffeur taking the wheel of the car? i’m not quite sure why.
