Why don't desis like sports

other than cricket and hockey? and some squash and/or tennis and badminton.

Why don’t we break the monotony and have our kids become swimmers or iceskaters or race car drivers or basketball players?

What’s with our mentality…or is it lack of resources back home. But what about here in the US and other countries where there’s no shortage of sport activities?

I would love it if my son wants to go in baseball or daughter in swimming.And hey we both love basketball and football.
