REALLY! why? why do they have to hide their age, or even worse lie about their correct age.
it gives such a negative impression when they lie. i just hate it. what’s the big deal? a lot of indian acters never hide their age, everyone know how old is ashwarya, and shahrukhan etc, does their age make a difference on how much people like them? i never heard a person saying that he/she will only like someoen if he is under 30 years etc.
i am making this post because of that one interview of imran abbas i watched few days ago on nadia khan show.
i dont’ like him as much as a lot of other girls, but while watching his interivew i was quit impress by him, it was a nice interview. but toward the end, when one woman called and said that you look 28 and he said no i am 24, i just couldn’t stand him.
i mean through out the interview he was telling what he have done, like NCA for five years, that airforce (or something like that) for two years, and then he has been doing tv since atleast last 6 years, i watched him 6 years ago on haseena moin’s drama in which he played humayoun saeed’s brother. how can he be 24 years old. and i am sure he mentioned that he did tv after getting done with NCA and that other airforce thing.
it’s just really irritating, first it was just woman or pakistani movie actress but now it’s everyone.
dude all the actors in pakistan do for some reason....i saw saleem javed trying to hide his age as well on nks but then he finally gave up later. its so irritating...mujhai lagta hai yeh sub log complex ka shikaar hain....i mean age is nothing but a number...why does it matter so much to them? becharai i think they are scared that if they were to give out there real age people will think they are too old to be in certain characters in dramas??? or yaa phir they think that people won't like them as much?? whatever the reason is they seriously need to grow out of it.

they think no one will notice their jhoooriyan if they don't tell their real age..there is an age where all the anti- wrinkle cremes, lasers etc stop working too you know.
but it just doesn't make sense. i don't know anyone who doesn't like ashweriya because she is like 35, there are ppl who hate her for different reasons, but i never heard her age being one of the reason.
what doesn imran abbas trying to show by saying he is a kaka munna 24 years old because he is not.
i start seeing him on tv 6 years ago, and i was 17 back then, and he didn't look 18. he looked 28 back then. he was playing a young to old character in one drama, i am not too sure about the name, but i guess it was "shayak kay bahar aa'ay"?? with humayoun saeed, sania saeed, tooba etc.
oh one more thing i just remember. in nadia khan show last year on her birthday i remember how she was keep saying that she has been working on tv since last 15 years, and she was 14 years old when she started ptv.
then this year on her birthday instead of saying she has been working on tv since last 16 years (because one year has passed since her birthday last year) she said she has been on tv since 14 years, and i notticed how she never say 15 years again.
all this is not a big deal but it just really really annoy me

Are you sure about that! SIX years back Imran Abbas exsisted in show_biz? The only recent serial he played bro to Mayun is WILCO.
all actors do that. because they rely on their 'youthful looks' to earn their bread and butter so that makes them insecure. marilyn monroe started taking drugs because she was phobic of getting old.
i dont know about drama ppl...but filmy actresses chupatai hain apni age...like meera said she is 25, q ke woh kisi soorat apni hareef se umer main badi nahi dikhna chahti.....
