Why does it NEVER stop raining in the UK- the North in particular?!!!

Gosh, tell me about it. I went up north a few days ago and as soon as I passed junction 19 on the M6 grey rain clouds rolled into view and lo and behold it started to chuck it down. That’s when you know you’re officially “up north”

…Syraa… the M6 mostly seems to fare well.. its when u reach Junction 19 on the M62 that it turns sour!**

But, it has been really hot these past couple of months… July has just ended up being what May should have been.
