Too much of anything is bad…
But on the whole i suppose a rainstorm is better than a hail or blizzard… or even Heaven forbid a firestorm. 
Gosh, tell me about it. I went up north a few days ago and as soon as I passed junction 19 on the M6 grey rain clouds rolled into view and lo and behold it started to chuck it down. That’s when you know you’re officially “up north”
But, it has been really hot these past couple of months… July has just ended up being what May should have been.

The Taklamakhan is furthest desert from any ocean so justly it should have the title of the driest place on earth.
In fact if you go there on a good day the place looks like Mars.

It’s a desert near southern China and just north of Xingjang region which is near Pakistan border… i had the pleasure of mapping the place when i was young… :slaute:
