booooooohooooo. why do other people cry at a girls rukhsati?

They wanna fit in.

Because it adds a nice dramatic touch to the wedding video…especially if it goes on Youtube.

Because they’re competing with the bride and groom for attention.

Because they failed to bring either boxed or non-boxed (cash) gifts to the wedding and are compensating with the water-works.

The food was jus waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay tooooooo spicy.

If they’re a MIL…they’re lamenting the son’s choice and dreading their “replacement.” If they’re the nand, they’re crying to make their crying for similar reasons.

OR they know the general misery that marriage brings and feel sorry for the poor clueless and blinded by bliss couple.

I think that covers it.

My friend cried so much when her sister got married and it wasnt even at rukhsati..she was teary throughout the entire wedding. It's hard to get used to the fact that someone close to you wont be physically so close to you anymore.

It sucks how crying, such a regular human emotion is always either equated to drama-baazi or smtng silly like that.

I guess I should have interspersed my previous post with more laughing emoticons than one....HQ. Perhaps then it would have been more apparent that the post was meant to be a facetious/exaggerated one.
