Erm modesty and Hijab aren’t the same thing? Riiiiight.
So, by your way of thinking I can cover up during the day (a good deed) but then murder by night (a bad deed) Oh well, as long as I have a good deed in the good pile I guess it’s fine Did you know hypocrisy is abhorred in Islam? That’s a FACT. Maybe you should read up on that?
Oh and if you *really *didn’t care about whether people wore hijab or not then you wouldn’t care about what ‘excuses’ people have either.
Why are ppl so defensive .. ..When a peersun dunt hav anyfin good to say then they should not rather say anything at all ..
From what i see why this thread was opened was NOT to atttack ppl . but to make aware ppl that no matter who believes what ..‘excuses’ shouldnt be there when it comes to deen or actually practicing it… Islam just isnt about believe .. 50% of Islam is Aqeeda i.e. belief can be different or totally opposite and 50% of it is Amal i.e. the practical side of it.*no one can force anyone to do the practical but if ones aqeeda is firm on what they beleive they they will ..infact they SHOULD practice what their first 50% is about.
you dont wear hijab, so what are the chances your going to commit a murder in the night?? you dont make sense, your examples are weak. i didnt say if you have a good deed then its all good. we all know how islam works love, good and bad are being noted. now if you dont wear hijab/cover/dress islamically, AND you commit murder rolls eyes then too bad for you..thats 2 sins, if you do one thing your asked from allah, islamic cover and then commit murderrolls eyes right into skull then yeh thats 1 bad major sin and 1 good deed…i know how id rather be on the day of judgement where we all fighting to get into heaven and would want even ek naiki…
its funny how you assume if we were hijab we CANT commit murder, or if we dont wear hijab which most of us dont, then we have the clear-all for a kwik stab in someones neck…hey im not wearing a hijab so i guess il commit a crime tonight, murder by the looks of it…
I'm not sure what exactly you are proving by opening a thread like this - IMO, it seems that your trying to downgrade that people that do not wear hijab and pray salah.
im not proving anything, i was curious as to know thats all, i guess thats what a forum is here for, and if we can ask people on advice on boyfriends im sure wondering why a muslim doesnt ppray is kinda normal...na?
This weekend I was at this muslim conference event and the first two days, it felt as if the hijab police was following me. They wouldn't leave me alone...as soon as a little bang would slip out of my scarf, they will be behind me. Then this lady walked to me and said if I need to fix that hijab, it should hide in a small corner, I can't do it just standing on the side...wth! I was literally annoyed. My hijab is mine and my Allah's business so please go and mind your own business. Thank you!
It shouldn't matter so much what the reason for not praying 5 times a day and not wearing hijab are....what matters is you dont try to justify your failure to fulfill your duties as a Muslim.
I don't pray 5 times a day or wear hijab. Islam says I should and I'm sinning by not doing so...it's as simple as that.
Some people on this forum aren’t blessed with the art of reading by the looks of it, you being one of them. Stop putting words in other people’s mouth
Secondly you said:
In that instance people are ASKING for advice on their OWN PERSONAL LIFE. Unlike you whose topic screams of the same crap so many people say i.e. non-Hijabis are immodest, not wearing is a bad deed bla bla bla
Look at the first line in your topic:
People who don;t wear Hijab most of them dont give excuses. Some dont wear it as its not farz (and I agree with them) some don’t wear it because they think they are modest enough. You assume they don’t wear, feel guilty about it and hence their reasonings as to why they don;t wear it are ‘excuses’ :halo:
Thirdly, you said
this is NOT an excuse, its the truth. Though you seem to be doing exactly that by your judgemental posting
Its maybe people like you, who wear Hijab, beomce all movli types and think they’ve achived greatness and the right to judge and criticise people.
A person wears Hijab good for them. One doesn;t good for her. All that matters are their ACTIONS. Not a piece of cloth.
Oh and by the way Prophet pbuh never forced religion on anyone but he taught it through his actions. So yes religion cannot be foreced and needs to come from within.
Exactly the point I was trying to make earlier. Why does it even matter what "reasons" another person has for not doing hijab...or something that's farz and one of the 5 pillars (like namaz)??? THEIR reasons for "why" shouldn't affect you. Each of us will be held accountable separately. An excuse won't change a clear Islamic ruling about an issue (especially with prayer).
So, if you truly believe that you SHOULD be praying...and that you SHOULD be doing hijab.....rather than discuss individual reasons........go and wear that hijab...and go pray namaz.
shak- I DONT THINK YOU CAN READ EITHER i said i dont wear hijab either, but i dont find excuses either for not wearing it. you just assumed i wear one and am molvi type......pathetic that is, acusing someone of not reading posts, and then contradicting urself in the same line.
syraa said whats the point in wearing a hijab-good deed, if your goona commit a crime like murder by night-bad deed. i said, does that mean all 90percent of us who dont wear hijabs are murderers??
Who am i to judge, im just being matter of fact. i knew i would get posts on this thread such as whats the point wearing hijab when one can be a murderer or such along lines....rather than peoplke saying u know what, we dont read it, and we dont do accordingly to what is required, and we have no excuses....i didnt expect paragraphs of peoplejustifying`....i dont wear one, but i dont hide behind a reasoning for it....my only reason is I JUST DONT.....simple and honest...
To hide behind something or a ‘reaosning’ people would have to feel guilty about it first.
By the looks of it people who don’t wear Hijab dont feel guilty about it some of them (which is fine as there is no reason to) so if they dont feel guilty about it then how can their reasonings be construed as being ‘excuses’?
because my friend, WE all know what is required, and when someone tells you that its obligatory, we do feel like we need to explain why we dont. so out come the excuses, my own mum wears duppata in a hijab style, and she asks me sometimes, and i used to find reasonings before like oh when im ready, oh when il get married, oh when il stop commiting crimes by night ( syraa) OH this n that i had 101 million reasons, i also feel like it would make me look less pretty..lol silly but hey im honest...not sitting on this forums on the bench brigade...
now i realise, theres simply no excuses/reason/whatever you call it.
i promise ill start wearing one, just needs to match my dress. i prefer micky mouse hijab. anyone?
why does one assume that if you were to cover up islamically, then we have to dress down and look like tramps.....if you want to wear nice hijabs or whatever, where does it say you cant....where does it say u have to wear a certain colour/material/.
im sure if one was to cover, itd be a start in the right direction.
at the end of the day we like reading/obeying allahs words to what we find easy....and we can erase the bit s that we dont find so easy...selective is what i call it.
so god says we dont need to wear hijab ( not true, but some here assume its not such an obligation), so we dont wear it.
