@Jaanwar: No point bro, they aren’t going to get it
^ Again, its a matter of perspective. To you it may be encouraging someone to do what you think is right for them, and to someone else it could just be you not minding your own business and unnecessarily repeating what they already know.
Some people, well I guess most of the people don't like being told what is right and what is wrong. Pretty much everybody learns the difference between right and wrong while growing up, and then you have a hundred sources to learn further about the subjects you are more interested in and are inclined towards. Some people, perhaps like myself, tend to be counter-annoying and defiant. If someone tells me wearing shorts is haraam, the next thing you know I will show up at their house wearing the Borat swimsuit. The point being, it works differently for different people. Whatever one chooses to wear/follow/believe in is a personal matter. The best you can do is lead by example, that is what our prophets did, and that is what really changes minds.
Jaani-war.. I like....
No wait.. I LOVE!
perfect line and if we all try and implement it the world would be a happier place

yeh i know what you mean jaanwar, i am not saying i would walk up to a random person and lecture them on importance of namaz and pardah and FORCE them to pray.... ofcourse not....
i am talking about close friends...when you are talking to each other and its namaz time...you should encourage them to pray ... but again you can only ENCOURAGE them not FORCE.... but again it depends on the level of understanding you have with your friends....
I totally agree with your last sentence...alhumdolilah i do pray 5x and do observe pardah but i have some friends who really very punctual in namaz....duniya idhar say udhar ho jahe magar wo namaz nahi chortay .... no matter how hot the discussion is they'll excuse them self and go away for prayer....and yeh it does influence me...
i just hope we all realize how importance commandments of Allah are for us ....
