and hey, let me tell you, i was once like this, my husband when i firs tmet him, would read 5 times a day and i categorised him as religious, and i see other people assuming he must be a screwnut too if hes shockreading namaz and 5 times…wow he must be really religious and really fanatic…just because in contrast, we all suck at being muslim. fair.

Wow. Just as I suspected you’re projecting your own prejudices on others. Just because you felt like that about your own husband doesn’t mean we all think like that about people who pray 5 times a day.
