Chivalry is taken as flirting by most women in Pakistan, so it is very risky being chivalrous in Pakistan. A simple act of kindness can land you into trouble. Some men can dare to be chivalrous but only if they are sure she is unaccompanied.

yeah it will land you into trouble only if you confuse chivalry with hitting on.
