Hmmm....ok....where shall i start?
I have been married for nearly 3 years now Alhumdullilah and life is great with husband jee. There are 2 sisters in our social circle - i didnt know of them before marriage. Anyway, during many occasions, they have attended functions/gatherings and we too were present. On one occasion, the younger sister asks me how married life is going? And i respond "Alhumdullilah great". She advised me all sorts on how to keep my inlaws wrapped around my finger etc etc... I was shocked @ hearing that and ignored it.
I can sense some jealousy in their eyes and in their tone of voice and i can sense that either/both of them "liked" my hubby hence their attitude. I feel all the salams/duas that we exchange are fake and just for the sake of it!
Last weekend, we attended a function and they were there and i felt so awkward around them. I said salam to them from a distance and exchange a few "how are you, what you up to" words....AND i could also see that were looking at hubbyji...WHY oh WHY?
Do these singletons perfer married men?
i will tell u what... even i am completing 3 yrs in sum months..... i agree with all the points here that maybe they are jealous of the lifestyle u lead.. but i m thinkin, just sayin life is gr8 isnt enough for them to b jealous of u... did u share other things also like what he dus for u etc.... and the lovey dovey things? i dun think they r tryin to turn u against ur inlaws or somethin becus they wanna break u off or somethin! it dusnt make sense so dun think in that direction... but i will tell u somethin from my personal experience, i m married and i have sometimes, not always, found myself lookin at a handsome guy... somtimes if hes like, really, attractive, i will try to look again and i try my best (i dunno if i pass) at not makin it noticeable... so its natural. u didnt tell in ur post if hes good lookin... i m damn sure he is that is why they r ogling at him :D hehehe. take it easy and keep him away from them :)

as for generally speaking, women might feel attracted to a married man b/c, like others said, the life he can provide...and also that "crush" might feel safe because they know it's with someone they could never have (that is, if those girls have morals to begin with).... i dont think a crush si a big deal esp if the girlw ho has the crush knows her limits and will not cross them.....

They are good. We are leaving for Maha's appointment with her pediatrician, I wonder if they'll give her any shots again today.

I TOTALLY agree with you! When a man is happy and content, he has no need to go wandering and wont. A woman that does not respect such things as marriage, will view that as a challenge and try to entice him.
That is probably what you saw Sunset and since your hubby is happy, he probably didnt pay much attention to their nonsense.
It seems like you have a solid relationship, they will stop after a while or may have already.

sometimes the crushes we have as girls dont go away entirely even after the guy is married...
ive seen that with a few friends... but its all innocent.. :) a lil immature but feelings just dont go away automaticlaly... and im sure they're not trying to do anything... prob arent aware of it themselves

acchay khasay hitay thay...sham mein mauj masti...suttay shuttay lagana, kaheen ja kar charghay tikkay khans. movie dekhna..aram say relax karna, weekend par partiaan, mood aya toh last minute ticket ay kar kaheen aur pohonch gaye..
aata hai yaad mujh ko guzra hua zamana..
ayyashi, tafreeh aur partiaan rozana..

aap ki begum go bhi yaad aatey hoyeN gey woh din jab usko freedom thi to walk home late with her buddies and have have slumber parties with them and gossip about all the strange fellas in the neighborhood 
The correct question would be why do married men forget that they are married. :)

Sadz - There are 4-5 single girls who actually wanted to marry him but he rejected them - as in they werent his type and oldest sister is one of them. I actually asked him why he chose me and not any of these chicks. They cant do anything - m sure they are just making most of ogling when we have these social gatherings. :CareBear:
X2 n Niksik - not sure how to reply to ur posts but us women sometimes reminisce about the times when we were single. It was much easier to live our lives when we didnt have any responsibilities. But Alhumdullilah, apart from one or two things re inlaws, life as a married woman is a dream AH.
