There is one and only one issue Kashmir which has resulted in three wars and also the reason Pakistan and India are now nuclear powers . I do not see any mention of it in your post.
The Indians I work with do not show any hatred towards me, instead they show a lot of respect.
How and where did you notice any hatred ?
If you are talking about the bickering going on in international forums , that is because both countries hire professionals to create these shows. Pakistan to keep the Kashmir issue alive and Indians to make sure that International community pay no heed to what Pakistani bureaucrats or diplomats are saying.

A few people at my uni are Hindus and just heard things they were saying and it really upset me. However, I will not provide details on that. Sowiee :)

Who said they hate us? There are always gonna be some people in each nation who is gonna dislike the people of another nation. Why wasnt the question vice versa. Y does Pakistan or Pakistani people hate hindus or India? IS it becoz they work extremely hard to get where they are and they try to help their indian brothers when they come abroad (questioning it in sarcasm if u guys didnt get it, roll eyes).
You know i know a zillion hindus or indians and some of my relatives actually live in India. Hence i have a lot of friends back in India too and i have never heard them say a single crap about Pak or Pakistanis'. Yes u will find a zillion people at the streets saying crap about Pak but its the same with Pakistani people n streets (u will find jahil log in each country). But over here i have never heard any of the hindus or Indian say anythin about a Pakistani. Though i have heard guppies talk about hindus in degraded terms ( not gonna name them). I just think you guys are meeting the wrong people, raise ur calibre otherwise altaf hussain jaisay log apni hi country kay flag jalatay hain.

Never! We love our Pakistani buddies. They are cool. They rock. They are the bestest and awesomest people and we love them. 
Some people are just mean and nasty and there are people like that in every culture I guess. And a lot of it is propoganda, but deep in our hearts, in the hearts of Indian people, there is a feeling of brotherhood and a desire for peace and friendship.

actually every indian i have ever met has always been so friendly...especially the sikh..they r too good haha
and when I was in india...and people got to know im pakistani..they were really friendly towards me..and they actually got happy that pakistanis were visiting india....

People to people there is no hate. Infact there is an underlying desire to love and be loved by the other.
I like Hindi/Urdu being spoken in the malls etc, or girls / ladies wearing the indian/pakistani dresses. I feel the warmth of most pakistani people whenever I have spoken to them.
The negativity comes in politics only ......
