Ok, so yesterday I was at my daughter’s doc office for her 2 year well visit. The lady at the check-in had long curvy acrylics that were painted beautifully, but she could hardly type or write anything as the nails kept coming in the way! A 2 minute procedure took a while, and was frankly a bit irritating!
Why do people wear those? Aren’t they annoying? What if you poke yourself at night?

I do them but i make sure they are not long.. I make them short..

Urghhhhhhhh I find them soo nasty, theres nothing feminine about them! Oh and how unhygienic!

I'm talking about the Looooooooooooooooong ones, that curve toward the end and make your fingers look abnormally longer!

^ honey, they are like normal nails.. you gotta take care of them.. clean them more often as you would clean ur own long nails.. :)

But when you take them off you nails must be dying underneath from all that hardcore glue they use? This one gal in work always has hers done, I once saw her nails without them and they looked knackered.

I bet they are nothing like what I am talking about. It's not that long nails don't look pretty, but these ones were sumffin' else!

Niksik i know xactly what ur talking about, i see that alot here...i'd always gotten the french tips, and they're always shorter than what girls normally get..but some women, they get those long freaky designs etc. I guess htey're used to it.

it depends if u do acrylics or gel.. Gel doesn't damage ur nail alot.. it lets the nail underneath to breath so they would be strong as your normal nails.. but yeah if u do acrylics then ur nails below would be damaged alot.. but again nails have to be taken care of.. when u remove them make sure u put nail strength polish and thick layers of nail polish to give it a bit of strength...
