This annoys me so much when I see women act like it’s not a big deal. Of course it is a big deal, your partner looking at other naked women and that too in a sexual way, getting aroused by it and possibly fantasizing about it. My best friend thinks I’m overreacting and is okay with her guy watching it and even watching together. She says she is “easy going”. Um, I am easy-going too but if this makes me a prude/insecure/jealous than I’d rather NOT be easy going.
I feel very fortunate that my fiance and I have very good communication and he finds watching porn, especially if you are with a woman, wrong. He was open about the past and having watched it during his early teen years during school, which was kinda’ annoying but no biggie. He and I are on the same page and he would never watch it now for several reasons ranging from the fact that it’s disrespectful to me, islamic reasons, and in general seeing another woman naked. I feel horrible for those women that have husbands who watch it openly knowing their wives don’t approve. Not only is it not healthy for a relationship, it is disrespectful towards the woman too for hi to watch it in FRONT of her. I mean, if you want to at least have the courtesy to be discreet about it. =/ I remember knowing a few friends who had boyfriends/husbands who did and these girls has no choice but to accept it, one in particular would cry yet it wouldn’t stop her man. Pathetic.
Now, unless the couple is okay with it and enjoy it together, that’s another story and totally their call and IMO, fine.

As long as they are doing it in the privacy of their own home what seems to be your problem with it ? Is she pestering you to share her pastime ? If yes that would be annoying because you do not share her passion for it. Right ?

It’s a very personal thing. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with letting your man watch it but it’d better not be excessive. If he’d rather watch porn than be intimate with me…well I am going to give him a really hard time..

Uh, I dont care what they do. I was just giving an example because I was talking about it with her. I have a ton of friends who are “okay” with (they have no other choice, heh) their partners watching, even if they dont approve. And some that dont have interest in it and yes there are guys who don’t watch porn, contrary to popular belief.
I agree, as long as you are okay with it that is totally fine. And this isn’t about the Islamic reasons (I’m not religious, so my perspective isn’t religious at all).

I'm not gonna argue with that because as long as the wife is OKAY with it, that is fine since both people are okay and in agreement. I just understand why those women who have a problem with it dont speak up to their husbands.

I think it is a disgusting habit, and it is very disrespectful to women, especially if they are not happy about their bf/husband watching it. I wouldnt be with someone if he continued to watch it knowing that I didnt like it, and it hurt me when he did it.

Exactly, addiction too but of course some men (or women) can watch it and not get addicted and only watch it out of boredom or whatever other minor thing. I'm just not okay with it, whatever the reason maybe. I'm just glad that me and my future husband are on the same page and I don't need to worry about it.
Maybe I'm an extremely possessive person but I find the thought of my man looking at another naked woman and her private parts repulsive.
Desi women tend to let themselves go after marriage. So becharay men find solace in porn.

And honestly! Why must the women be the only one maintaining herself after marriage? Wht about the men with big tidds wanting their even slightly chubby wives to be katrinas and kareenas?!
I understand the importance of attraction in marriage but it shouldnt be one way. Come to think of it, men would do with anything at all but for women attraction is all the more important.

Dont think I would have an issue with it as long as it wasnt excessive and as long as it wasnt over being intimate with me.
Im pretty sure even after I am married I would find other men hot and sexually attractive, women just dont get turned on by born as men do as we arent as visual so its not a habit many women have but im pretty sure they find other men sexually attractive.

Ditto. Thank god some women are being vocal about their wants and needs which helps husbands from being totally lazy while expecting their wife to look like some VS model.
That is very true, which is why women watching porn seems a bit better than men b/c women aren’t fantasizing about that male porn star the way some men would fantasize about that female porn star. Women tend to get sexually attracted to a male once they have established an emotional connection whereas most men tend to be attracted to assets and physical aspects of the woman which is why my question/thread is more dedicated to MEN watching since more than likely even if women watch it, it doesn’t leave the same effect.
I guess men can be like that too but it is extremely rare which is why I feel icky about the whole thing.
A question to women being okay with it such as Inspiron and Theorist, do you guys not think it’s a big deal for your man to see naked women and don’t care, or you’re letting it slide because “they’re men”.
