One of my uncle got an email from some “so called company” and they said that they have mistakenly transferred $4,000 to your account. We were suppose to transfer it to some other client and we need this amount ASAP. since bank transfer would take time, would it be possible for you to send us $1500 so that we can give an advance to our cilent and send us the $1500 once you receive the amount. and you can keep $1000 because of the hassle we put you in

My uncle went to his bank and asked about any incoming amount or something .. .. the bank said there is no amount so for, if its a wire transfer it would take 4-5 days. One of his friend suggested him that he should send the amount back since it “sounds” legit as they are giving you $1000 .. .. but my uncle didn’t send the money.

He never got a wire transfer ..

No exactly, if you scam it properly you wouldn’t even know .. ..

I got such an email when i was selling my BlackBerry - The mail was legit, in my Gmail inbox .. .. with all the possible information. Having a background of IT security I wanted to check as if the mail is legit and when i went through different links in the email, I realized its not ..

Thats true as well, but i see emails like this and junk em !
