Salaam brother Nussairee No I am not trying to prove anything to you - my respone was to you quoting ‘sermon of Shaqshaqiah’.

Letter 6 of Nahjul Balgha says wonderful things - only if one reads them without tainted glasses.

I agree tht it says wonderful things…Prophet SAWW said I am the city of knowledge and Ali is its gate…and not only his words have wisdom but they r literal beauty too…

There is a lot of good stuff in the book. And quite a lot where Imam Ali (ra) is rebuking his own followers. My apologies I wish I had the time for endless debates.

u wud agree that anyone who goes against the principles of Islam needs to be condemned and rebuked…be it they r companions, a family members or what have u…for Imam Ali it was Islam and its principles that mattered and nothing else…

I didn’t see you disapproving the action of Shias erroneously mistranslating with intent the letter 6 of Nahjul Balagha. Where is the fear of Allah (swt)?

well we haven’t established anything so how can I disapprove them?..al-islam.org is not a regular propaganda churning website and by quickly looking at the discrepancies u r pointing towards I can see where ur misunderstanding might be…so we will wait until we discuss it…

I think the blood - letting mataam gives Shias a not so good image. I think a lot of Shias scholars feel the same.

what u think is correct…let me clarify that me defending azadari in principle does not mean that anything or everything that takes place under its name is sacred and right…same goes for milad or any other ritual…
