Pakhtoons are usually tall. How can Punjabis look down on them. More importantly Pakhtoons are hattay kattay as well. Apni jaan sabb ko piyari honee chahiyay.

vaise, its not a stereotype that I know. One of our math’s teacher once said that "pathans are vulgar" though I'm not sure whether he was pointing at some certain group of pathans.
Besides that, there have always been clashes among Punjabis and Pathans here in Qatar. Believe it or not but many times, like a Pathan ambassador comes in he brings more Pathans from Pakistan and same goes for Punjabis.
This is all new to me.
We're Punjabis, and one of my cousins married a Pathani lady.

I think this is 2 way process....and it is not only ounjabis who dislike others..same is the case with all others nature...mentally sick persons whereever they are ..who ever they are tend to look down at others.....

It's a mutual thing. Whoever wants to be racist will be. It has little to do with being a Pathan or Punjabi.
Btw, Pakhtun is the correct pronounciation. Nothing 'posh' about it.

I've seen a lot of racism in Pakistan--> once when my family was coming back to England the customs man (a Punjabi although racism isn't restricted to one group) stopped us and said "they've come from Peshawar so recheck them for drugs"
Needless to say my parents gave him hell and that was the last time we went via Islamabad.
Hey, I've encountered that customs officer too. Gave him hell but still go through Islamabad. Moonga na zan nashi khlasole.
^ Lol! Yeah we encountered a lil racism in Islamabad and Lahore too. But I'm sure Punjabis from those cities get their share when they come to Pekhawar. Very very sad.
