Btw, no one shared here about their feelings if someone is making the sound of "kkhhhhh....kkkhhhhh...." before spitting. I mean while they are trying to clear their throat. Does it has any rytham..?

Anyways, back to the topic. Does anyone know why sometimes the spit is very sticky, I mean I see people trying to spit and it is very difficult for them to throw it away.

And In Pakistan Dustbins should be made available in public places. I sometimes miss them very much (Not for spitting, but for throwing things)

spitting is disgusting and more so in pakistan cause i have seen and i know of people spitting in side rooms whilst kids play about bare footed which is common in pk hoseholds. i have seen people blowing noses with there fingers. i have been to rural areas and watched women cook food after handling buffalo/cow dung. all they did was rinse there hands in cold water before cooking. it is disgusting i told them in the face but they replied that we veleties are worse an shut up

Go to Lucknow…you will find many places , corners painted red with paan peek…centuries old nawaabi habit..some people spit in style…a streak of spit darts out of the gap between front teeth..*pritch..pritch.

Well in my opinion, if one brushes his/her teeth twice a day, doesn’t chew tobacco, doesn’t smoke, keeps nostrils clean, rinses mouth after taking food etc…there would a very limited desire to spit.

Some sportsmen also spit on the field. IT is their majbori.The camera shows them very closely. I think the camera should not show it to the whole world as it might effect the graceful personality of the sportsman and hurt a million hearts. But I think it is a good treatment for the girls who become crazy for them and want to marry them. Atleast this would keep them from shouting in a shreaking voice whenever they see them. But may be they would still shout "Ewwwww..."after seeing the site of the spit.
May be such bad habbits act as a blessings in disguise for some people. thinking
But that doesn't mean one should spit in public.
By the way what do you do if you want to spit and there is no place for it and someone is insisting you to talk and you can't open your mouth to talk ?

It sure is a bad habit. What I find more disgusting than this is Scratching your ba**s or groin area in public which is very widely practiced in Pakistan.

Forgive my vulgarity, but I couldn't resist to say the following.
It is an irony. Alot of western people think of spiting to be a very bad habbit but they do all kinds of dirty stuff in open which is even dirtier for soul than spiting. I was tempted to mention them but I might die of shame if I start mentioning them.
p.s. This doesn't mean I like spiting.

So is scratching the balls..especially North Indians. It appears as if their balls have gone missing. :D
