Allah only gives you things he knows you can handle?

Really? How do you explain,when people commit suicide?

At the moment in time the pain was so bad, they had to end the life. If Allah helped them out and didnt give those problems in the first place, They wud of still been alive till this day.

Please shed light.

MB i will have to disagree, It is true that Allah gives you problems he knows you can handle, however the reason for ppl commiting suicides as well as SINS is the lack of faith in Allah and lack of faith in yourself or shall i say cowardice. What i dont understand is when things are good why dont ppl remember Allah and give Him credit for it lekin when somin goes wrong all the blame goes to Allah.

But get this.

Once my older brother who very much took care of me said to me.

Why don’t you take things seriously and give thins a shape. He said “when you(me-JK) die and go to God, God is going to say ohhhhh thats him!!! to whom I used to give chances every day, but never attempted to take them.”

Serously Mixed when ppl screw up life with their own hands what you want God to do?? slap them?? well he doesn’t!!! learn to live with that.

Actually when *my *life is going smooth believe me i remember Allah. When things are going wrong i remember Allah.
And i know cases where sumone cudnt take it anymore because trust me this person went thru hell and back, and decided to end it.
Why?
Allah knows the future right? why didnt Allah prevent him frm doing that? The day he/she was born, Allah knows how were gonna die. Why at the moment in time didnt he send sum angel to stop that person frm doing so?
Why??

Im not talking about ‘oh i lost my job today’ Im talking about serious issues

yaar MB due to my lack of knowledge on the topic i will refrain from answering this question, however, Allah has given us life, a suggested path to live as well as the benefits and rewards of living the life on the said path, as well as the fact that HE and only HE knows our expiry date, however ALLAH has also given us heart and mind to do everything between the start and the finish of our life, our life becomes what we make of it, our actions leads to what happens in our lives and for that we cannot blame Allah, our situation are due to the choices we make.

silliness know no boundaries.

I know you are only looking refuge at the moment. And what ever I say cant bring you out of this state.
However. Get this. When you don’t hurt ppl in every day life you are remembering allah.
When you chose constructive path over destructive path for your self and other ppl you are remembering God.

Things happen to ppl, But ppl of faith stick to the right path. As a result, they may not become ruler of the world, BUT they will perform THEIR best under given circumstances. For ppl with no imagination, imagine this if 3 bf dump a girl there are chance she become drug addict or some thing…making her self useless for 4th real perosn who may come by(send by God)
she will make her self pain for family and stuff. BUT in moronic discussion she will have a"valid"
reason for her addiction. In that way, I agree, faith is merciless. She wil be giving up on her life.
How ever if she stick to the faith, She will have stronger personality. And would have potential to better in hubby hunt or in professional life.

Ppl who been through crap in their life KNOW how powerful those little tools are(tools given by faith)

lower lever of faith helps you to keep up with every day life, and higher level help you correct the destination you are heading too.

Also note ppl who screw things up for them self have tendency to blame it on faith.

i just don't get this stupid logic ... when something bad happens to people they're the frst ones to blame Allah that oh god why are you doing this to me .. what have i ever done to deserve this bla bla bla ... cuz most people don't remember how they have hurt others and come up with a billion different reasons to justify their actions ... but when everything is going right and dandy then these same people say that this is because i tried hard and worked for it nad all that ... guys grow the hell up ... be accountable for ur actions ... do not blame everything on Allah ... i have my sympathies towards the people who are going through a hard time but stop blaming god for it ... some wehre along the way you made bad decisions too and thats why you're stuck in this mess ... so take responsibility for it and act maturely and responsibly

ermm... I think I need to mention one more thing here. Allah has given all of us a thing which is called "AQAL", we are supposed to use it and wait to see the results. We make decisions but when we don't get the "required" return we get mad and impatient. If people commit suicide then it's just because they don't have patience. If Allah wants you to take any action then He also gives you the courage to bear the consequences but mostly people don't understand this. Wrong decisions ap khud lain aur ilzaam Allah pe I think that's not justified.

Whenever you feel dissappointed about anything then immediately ask Allah to give you courage and patience I assure you that He will definately help.

Although its already decided what will happen to us, we still have the ability to make choices, and suicide is (like someone mentioned earlier) losing faith in Allah and not trusting him enough to make things better. suicide is a weak way out, you hurt yourself by doing it,and you hurt all the people who love you, including Allah.

For people who are severely mentally unstable suicide is an issue that we probably can't fully understand from their point of view.

Yes it is true that Allah only gives you things that he knows you can handle. The way you deal with them and what you gain from the experience is up to you. You can take it as a positive or a negative.

Its all well people saying suicide is weak etc, But if your in that situation you will know how it feels. Especially if you loose someone so close to you. (death wise)
Yes im talking suicide. So i wud appreciate if people wud stop saying thats weak. Because believe me what that person went thru was not weak.

MB for someone to commit suicide there has to be something seriously wrong with their life or in their mind. Not one of us could explain what drives people to do that, because when someone dies they take all of that to the grave with them.

Like you said, it's all well saying suicide is an action of the weak, and yes in Islam we know it is wrong, but we are no one worthy of judging another human being.

Obviously not? Please dont say they dont have Faith, Because were all Humans at the end of the day, and we feel things. Things really get us down. And sometimes theres no way to get up no matter what.

I guess no one has the answer to that.
